Refer to themselves as a visionary or thought leader in their profile 6. This looks so awesome – so awesome it doesn’t generate any leads 7. Can you tell us where the sale came from? How much credit should be assigned to a TV ad vs. an email offer vs. a paid search campaign vs. an in-branch promotion? The truth is – we typically don’t know. 8. We settle on Vanilla Marketing campaigns - Businesses often avoid ideas that are polarizing, whether new products, ad campaigns, or promotions. It’s always easier to launch the next flavor of vanilla. But there’s power in polarization. 9. They’ll spend millions on a re-branding of colors and logo and almost nothing on brand data analytics 10. Let’s automate everything! Depending on the tools that you use to publish on social media platforms, you’ll find that there are often issues with the ways that images or messages post on different platforms. 11. Jumping on the Bandwagons - However, we’ve all seen what happens when companies try and jump on the wrong bandwagon.
